Educational Objectives:
1. Review cognitive impairments typically associated with acquired language and
 cognitive-communication disorders.
2. Discuss current concepts of social cognition and social communication, and
 their relationship to pragmatic communication.
3. Critique their own therapy practice to determine if they are using appropriate
 instructional methods.
4. Develop a framework for assessment and intervention of social communication
 problems, and apply this framework to clinical case studies.
