Our Lady of Peace to Host Free Seminar for Parents
Louisville, Ky.— Our Lady of Peace, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host a free seminar for parents entitled “Level the Playing Field: Teaching social skills to children with developmental disabilities” as part of the Peace for Parents program.
The seminar will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Jewish Hospital Medical Center East, 3920 Dutchmans Lane in St. Matthews.
Peace for Parents is a series of free seminars to help guide parents with school-age children through topics that while common can be tricky to navigate. This is the second year for the program.
Kim Dwyer-Moore, MS, BCBA, a behavior analyst with Our Lady of Peace, will lead the seminar, which will include an interactive discussion and a question and answer period.
Interested individuals are encouraged to register in advance. Registration is free and can be done by calling (502) 479-4495.

• November 27, 2012 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital — Childhood Behavior Problems – Strategies to assist parents in overcoming difficult behaviors in the home
• December 4, 2012 ¬at Jewish Hospital Medical Center Northeast — Treatment of Children and Adolescent’s Mental Health Issues
