KentuckyOne Health Offers Free Heart Health Screenings at Kentucky State Fair

KentuckyOne Health will offer free cholesterol screenings from 9 a.m. -1:30 p.m. each day and free blood pressure screenings all day, every day at the Kentucky State Fair, August 16-26.
KentuckyOne will have one of the largest health care exhibits in the “Health Horizons” area of the South Wing. The exhibit will feature a large inflatable heart that visitors can walk through and learn the anatomy of the organ and cardiovascular care. Approximately 60 clinical and non-clinical volunteers will be on-hand each day.
Heart health awareness and education is particularly important for Kentuckians. Kentucky ranks ninth in the nation for deaths from heart disease and stroke.
