Emergency Hand Care
Making your families health our top priority
Hand injuries account for 25% of emergency visits in the U.S. alone, making the upper extremity the most injured part of the body. Jewish Hospital provides immediate emergency treatment 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week with our specialized Hand Care Emergency Services at the downtown Jewish Hospital Emergency Department.
Hand Trauma Teams headed by Kleinert, Kutz and Associates' board-certified staff physicians are on call and ready to handle upper extremity trauma from the hand to the arm to the shoulder. The team approach allows care of multiple patients with severe trauma as well as minor injuries. Each team includes Fellows in Hand Surgery who are fully trained plastic, orthopedic or general surgeons.
