Garon Lifestyle Preventative Heart Program

Garon Lifestyle Center, part of the world-renowned Jewish Hospital Heart and Lung Institute, offers comprehensive rehab care and prevention programs. The staff of cardiologists, registered nurses, exercise physiologists, dietitians and social workers use a team approach to cardiac rehab.

As you work through your exercise program, the staff at Garon will work with you, offering supervision and encouragement. Join our team for a healthy approach to fitness.

Rehabilitation

For those with heart disease, Garon can coordinate a program following your physician's guidelines. The Garon team offers three phases of rehabilitation.

  • Phase I begins while you are still in the hospital, with education about heart disease and instruction for recovering at home.
  • Phase II and Phase III offers a variety of strength building and aerobic exercise, building in intensity as you recover.
