Patients accepted as kidney transplant candidates are listed on the local organ procurement center's list-Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA)-as well as the national center's list-United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS). Jewish Hospital's median waiting time for a patient listed for kidney transplant continues to be significantly below the national average.
