Our nurses have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams whose number one focus is “Excellent Patient Outcomes.” Highly skilled and trained, cardiovascular nurses take part in caring for complex cases only happening here, including Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD) used as a bridge to heart transplants or for destination therapy patients.

Other complex procedures nurses take part in every day at include leading edge procedures like the Artic Sun cooling device, which prevents neurological damage after extreme cardiac events and minimally invasive open heart procedures using the DaVinci S Robot and Stereotaxis Gentle Touch systems.
