Advances in Neurology 2013 is a CME event for neurologists, primary care physicians and neuroscientists covering a broad variety of topics in neurology including headache,epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders and stroke.

The target audience includes healthcare professionals in the following specialties: Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Neuropsychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Neuroscientists, Primary Care Physicians and Nurses.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Prescribe medication for stroke prevention in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.
  2. Identify the surgical indications and when to refer for epilepsy surgery.
  3. Evaluate and treat acute neuromuscular diseases in the ICU.
  4. Recognize and treat Parkinson’s disease early, including the non-motor features.
  5. Recognize and treat headache disorders early, including migraine.
