Our Lady of Peace to Host Free Seminar for Parents on Underage Drinking
Louisville, Ky.—The Children’s Peace Center at Our Lady of Peace, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host a free seminar for parents entitled “Underage Drinking: What Parents Need to Know and What Professionals Need to Do” as part of the Peace for Parents program.
The seminar will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Jewish Hospital Medical Center Southwest located at 9700 Stonestreet Road in Louisville. The presentation will help parents navigate the signs of health and behavioral problems associated with underage drinking. It will also guide parents on how to work with professionals for prevention and treatment of teenage drinking problems.
Peace for Parents is a series of free seminars to help guide parents with school-age children through topics that while common can be tricky to navigate. This is the second year for the program.
Jean Marlatt Henry, LCSW, Our Lady of Peace, will lead the seminar, which will include an interactive discussion and a question and answer period.
Interested individuals are encouraged to register in advance. Registration is free and can be done by calling (502) 479-4495.

• December 4, 2012 ¬at Jewish Hospital Medical Center Northeast — Treatment of Children and Adolescent Mental Health Issues
