The University of Louisville Hospital Stroke Team will provide free blood pressure screenings at the Louisville Bats game Friday, May 24, at Slugger Field from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The Stroke Team will be located on the main concourse of the ballpark, which is the walking area behind home plate.
May is National Stroke Awareness Month, and one of the best ways to prevent a stroke is to manage your blood pressure if it is high. A normal blood pressure is less than 120/80 and a leading cause of stroke. The good news is that it can be controlled, but the first step is to have it checked.
Come out to Slugger Field this Friday, enjoy some Bats baseball and take a swing at managing your blood pressure.
About KentuckyOne Health
KentuckyOne Health was formed when two major Kentucky health care organizations came together in early 2012.
