To meet the health care needs of Bullitt County and the surrounding communities, Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare built a comprehensive outpatient health care facility in Hillview, Kentucky at the Brooks exit of Interstate 65. Jewish Hospital is excited to be able to bring much-needed medical care to an area that has been federally designated as a Health Professional Shortage Area.

Jewish Hospital Medical Center South opened May 15, 2006. The campus includes two buildings, the medical center and a medical office building. As a comprehensive outpatient and primary care center, the complex provides 24-hour emergency care, diagnostic imaging including MRI scanning and CT, outpatient surgical services, endoscopy, primary care services, mammography and bone densitometry.  New services now include a Wound Healing Care Program and Pulmonary Function Testing, with a Sleep Lab coming soon!

The new facility expands on the services that Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare has been providing in the community since the mid 1990’s through Frazier Rehab Institute’s outpatient rehab facility and physicians in the community. Jewish Hospital has been committed to providing quality health care to the area since the Bullitt County Medical Center in Tanyard Springs was established in 1998.

Many specialists have offices in the Medical Office Building, on-site, or perform procedures at Jewish Hospital Medical Cneter South. Specialists include Cardiologists, Pediatric Cardiologists, Ear Nose & Throat Physicians, Gastroenterologists, General Surgeons, Gynecologists and OB/GYN’s, Orthopaedics, Podiatrists, Primary Care Physicians, Pulmonolgists and Urologists.  Outpatient Rehabilitation is also located on-site.  For a list of the physicians located in the Medical Office Building and their scheduling numbers please click here.

Offices with a daily presence at Jewish Hospital Medical Center South include Heart Specialists and IMC Family Medicine-Dr. Doug Mattingly.

On May 22, 2006 Family Practice Associates, a service of Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare, opened a satellite office in Shepherdsville, Kentucky including Drs. Michael Needleman, Anne Rice, John Sullivan, Robert Scharff, Christopher Smalley, Ling Qiu, and Megan Ward, ARNP to provide additional services to the community.

Jewish Hospital Medical Center South includes all board certified/board eligible physicians from several different groups including:  Anesthesiology Associates (Anesthesiology), Tyson, Schwab, Short & Weiss (Radiology), Louisville Pathology Associates (Pathology), and Physicians in Emergency Medicine (Emergency Medicine).

Southbound
From I-65 South take Exit #121 (KY 1526/Brooks Road exit). This is the first exit past the Gene Snyder Expressway. Make a left off of the exit ramp. At the 2nd traffic light (BP gas station) turn right onto Hebron Lane, JHMCS is on the right. Parking is available in front of the building.

Northbound
From I-65 North take Exit #121 (KY 1526/Brooks Road exit). Turn right off of the exit ramp. At the 1st traffic light (BP gas station) turn right onto Hebron Lane, JHMCS is on the right. Parking is available in front of the building.
